Frequently Asked
Questions
How do I get
commission for my bCentral services?
In addition to your standard service fees, youll receive commission for selling bCentral services in one of two ways:
1)
Get paid through
bCentral. As soon as bCentral receives your clients payment,
bCentral will send checks to you based on the service they purchased. Checks
for monthly memberships are one-time payments; checks for annual contracts will
be sent once a year for as long as your client renews their bCentral services.
2)
Manage your clients account. Take charge of
paying for your clients bCentral services. After clients pay you for your
services, you pay their bCentral fees to Microsoft and keep the rest for your
commission and service fees. This option is preferred, as youll be a more
hands-on participant in every aspect of your clients bCentral services.
Are there any
special offers?
Yes. In addition
to the special deals on Premium Business and Premium Pro, you can introduce
your customers to bCentral with a one-month, free (not including connection
charges) trial offer that includes Site Manager and the Premium Business
package. If your client wants to continue using bCentral after one month, you
can sign them up at the regular price.
What happens if
a customer cancels a subscription?
If a customer cancels a bCentral
subscription, you will have to return a prorated amount of the commission you
received when your client signed up. For example, if your customer stopped
using bCentral six months into their yearlong contract, you would have to return
half the commission you received from bCentral. The cancellation policy {http://sitemanager.bcentral.com/smterms.asp} provides additional information
on how much your client would be responsible to pay to bCentral if they were to
cancel their bCentral services.
Who do I speak to if I dont
receive a check?
Send mail using this form {http://www.bcentral.com/help/bc/contact.html} if you havent
received your check from bCentral in a timely fashion. If you still have issues
with receiving your check, please send mail to bcpart@microsoft.com.
